Why should I join Slow Food?

To become part of an international network

Becoming a Slow Food member is internationally recognised amongst a network of supporters that are committed to making a positive difference to the community and to the environment through their food choices.

To support local and international Slow Food projects

By becoming a member, you will help to financially sustain and create projects that defend food biodiversity and foster great food choices, both internationally and within your local community.

To participate in local Slow Food events

When you become a member of Slow Food, you will become a member of your local convivium, Slow Food South Australia. As a member, you will have the opportunity to attend all events, share ideas and knowledge in our network and protect and enjoy your community’s culinary heritage. For events that require the purchase of a ticket to participate, you will receive a members-only discount and a priority booking window. You will also receive invitations to our ‘member only’ events.

To access food for thought

You will have access to the worldwide Slow Food network through electronic and printed publications as well as Slow Food South Australia’s exclusive newsletters and updates.
