We're excited to introduce another #snailofapproval recipient from the Clare Valley region in the chef category, Judyta Slupnicki from SheChef

With over 15 years of experience spanning Adelaide, Melbourne and Hong Kong — from owning restaurants to consulting, developing recipes and even cooking aboard the Ghan — Judyta brings a world of knowledge to every plate.

Since launching her freelance chef business in 2018, Judyta offers bespoke private dining experiences, crafting custom menus, while still maintaining her commitment to and passion for sustainability, local sourcing, and seasonal ingredients. A large number of clients request Polish menus, allowing her to share her Polish heritage, something that’s sparked even more interest since moving to the Clare Valley, a region with deep Polish roots. That said, she has a growing love for Vietnamese cuisine, giving her the chance to highlight its rich cultural impact in Australia.

Alongside her SheChef dinners, Judyta is looking forward to offering cooking classes that celebrate local produce and show how our food choices can positively impact the environment, farmers, and community — all while bringing people together through fresh, seasonal food. She truly lives the #slowfood ethos: celebrating food that is Good Clean and Fair.
