Congratulations to Four Leaf Milling, another fantastic Slow Food South Australia #snailofapproval recipient!

What began in 1969 as a small farm with no history of chemical use has grown into a pioneering organic milling operation. Founder Gavin began by grinding wholewheat flour for his young family, believing that food should be as pure and unprocessed as possible. His homemade mill used natural granite stones to preserve nutrients and produce flour rich in vitamins, minerals, and flavour.

By 1983, Four Leaf Milling was born, and the commitment to quality only deepened. Today, they offer over 60 lines of wholesome grain products sourced from their own land and other certified organic and biodynamic farms across Australia.

Their slow-speed, heat-free milling process ensures every grain maintains its natural goodness — a perfect example of food that is Good, Clean and Fair.
